Sizing guides.

Practical references for pairing tables, bases, and seating so your order arrives right the first time.

Table base to top

As a rule of thumb, the tabletop should overhang the base evenly on all sides, and the base footprint should stay wide enough to keep the table stable. Common commercial pairings:

Up to 30" round / 24×30"Single-column base, ~22" spread
36" round / 30×30"Single-column base, ~24–30" spread
36×36" and largerWider base or dual-column for stability
Bar / counter heightMatch base height class to top; use a wider spread up top

General guidance — dining height runs ~29–30", counter ~34–36", bar ~40–42". Send your top size and we'll confirm the right base.

Seating clearance

Allow roughly 24" of table width per diner, and keep about 18" between the seat edge and the table. Leave a 30"+ walkway behind pulled-out chairs so staff and guests can pass.
